Description & Details:

Conchomancy is the use of seashells to perform divination. The art of reading the future or gaining insight into matters using seashells is truly ancient and has been employed by many cultures the world over. In this course, we will explore the origins of shell divination, the methods in which it is traditionally conducted, how to go about collecting your own shells, applying meaning and creating a practice suited to your own needs and preferences.

Students will need access to material in order to construct their own casting circle and means of obtaining a set of seashells. Links to additional resources and recommended book titles have been provided but are not essential for completion. 

Coursework & Certificate

This course has been graded as having a “Moderate” level of assignment and course work. In addition to reading through the slide presentations, students will need to complete a series of short assignments, a quiz and final exam where they will need to conduct a reading and then write up their experience. Students will be able to download a course certificate on completion of all the required elements.
